XycomIn 1998, Xycom Automation was formed as a result of a strategic merger between Xycom Inc., a leader in the industrial PC market, and ASAP Inc., the developer of award-winning control software. In February 2001, Pro-face America, Inc., a subsidiary of Digital Electronics Corporation, purchased Xycom Automation, with the purpose of combining the already popular Xycom brand label with the Pro-face brand label in North America.
