Xycom

In 1998, Xycom Automation was formed as a result of a strategic merger between Xycom Inc., a leader in the industrial PC market, and ASAP Inc., the developer of award-winning control software.

In February 2001, Pro-face America, Inc., a subsidiary of Digital Electronics Corporation, purchased Xycom Automation, with the purpose of combining the already popular Xycom brand label with the Pro-face brand label in North America. The combination of their respective areas of expertise, producing automation hardware and software allows Xycom Automation to provide customers with complete solutions for their applications.

In August 2001, Pro-face America strengthened it's product line offering with the purchase of Viewtronix, Inc., a recognized flat panel monitor and workstation manufacturer based in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
